13

I cared for 13 pets on Monday, including one cat and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Just like humans, each has his or her own personality. For a few hours, I entered into a world filled with these loving companions. As you know, one of the best moments of the day occurs when you walk through the front door and are greeted by a wagging tail and slobbery kiss. Multiply that by 13 and you have my Monday!

Another Birthday boy! Happy 13th birthday, Bruno!

This is probably the biggest treat Bruno has ever seen!

Bruno approved!

Happy, happy Birthday!!

Audrey is one of the smallest pups in the pack.
She's also one of the most timid dogs in the pack.
That just means she requires a little extra love and attention.
On Monday, if you drove down City Park Avenue around noon,
you would have spotted a man sitting Indian style on the sidewalk,
gently carrying on a conversation with this pup.

Here's the opposite of timid!

Ariel has no problem going up to the biggest dog or man and
barking her mind!

She just wants to make sure you know that you are
in her world, not the other way around!

Her world is a good place to be :)

Another munchkin, Sissy!

Sissy is a very gentle and loving pup until she sees a bird or squirrel.
That's when her animal instincts kick into high gear and she's off
protecting her turf!

One of the two Boston's in the pack - Eleanor!

Eleanor also likes to protect her territory. She patiently stands
on the opposite side of the street and watches other dogs pass by.
Stopping to sniff the grass is strictly prohibited.

Maxwell enjoys walking with a pack of dogs.
Always the gentleman, he wants to make sure he is clean and presentable.
This is how he cleans his face..

Lick one side..

And then the other.

A stroll by some pretty tall flowers.

Photo opportunity!

"Less photos, more friends!"

"Greetings Piper!"

Happy Piper

A diverse pack! Maxwell, Piper, Maggie and Lulah.

Something has Maxwell's undivided attention!

A proper hello between friends.

More greetings!

Maxwell keeps his distance from these excited girls!

Lulah is ready for her walk!

Maggie is ready, too! Time for us to go on a stroll.
Enjoy your day.
Until next time..Woof!
